New Web and Live Cube Training at our Online Store

Citilabs understands the difficulties clients often face in arranging for travel to attend in-person training courses. In response, we are now offering web-based training opportunities, making it easier and more affordable than ever for our customers to learn Cube. These web-based learning opportunities include: web-based attendance options at live public courses, custom private training webinar services, and on-demand video training lessons.

Starting January 2009, registrants for select live public courses may opt to attend their purchased course via a browser connection rather than traveling to the course location to receive training in-person. Prior to attending the course, web attendees receive an email from the instructor containing a link to access a streaming multimedia feed of the training presentation, including all on-screen activity and lecture audio. In addition, web attendees at live courses receive a PDF copy of the course handbook or slides as well as all the files needed to complete any in-class exercises. Web attendees are placed in a conference call using either a Voice Over IP (VOIP) connection or their telephone, and can ask questions and participate in discussions just like in-person attendees. In short, web attendees receive everything an attendee gets in class--without the expense of travel.

Similarly, those interested in hiring Citilabs instructors to provide custom or private training courses for their organization can now request for such courses to be delivered in a live webinar format, rather than an on-site visit. This option is ideal for project teams whose staff are dispersed across many distant locations, or for those looking to lower the cost and logistical complexity of arranging private training. Typically, training courses delivered in this format are spread out over several sessions on different days, with each session being limited in duration to approximately 2-3 hours. The only software required is Cube and a web browser with a high-bandwidth connection. Offline exercises may be provided for self-study in addition to the in-class exercises performed interactively with the instructor.

Finally, video recordings of some of the lessons included in Cube training courses are now available for purchase on-demand through Citilabs' e-commerce portal, www.citilabs.com/store. To get the equivalent of a full Cube training course, students can purchase a "pack" of lessons--or buy individual lessons one at a time if they prefer to work through the material at their own pace. Once purchased, web video lessons and the associated exercise data are accessible for up to one week from the purchaser's account page at the e-commerce site. Viewers of web lessons can pause, rewind, and jump to specific sections in a Flash video of the training presentation packaged with helpful bookmarks for individual topics.

To register for web attendance at a live public course, or to purchase a web video lesson, visit www.citilabs.com/store to browse the available offerings. If you are interested in a private training webinar for your group, or have any other questions relating to Citilabs' web-based learning opportunities, please contact cbrown@citilabs.com."
