Intermediate Application Development with Cube Voyager
October 13-14
This intermediate course is intended for model developers who would like to more fully understand and develop travel forecasting models using Cube Voyager. Attendees will learn:
• How the Cube Voyager modules and scripting language are used together to fully develop a traditional travel demand model including standard mode choice and public transport modeling.
• How the Cube Voyager modules can be applied to develop complex applications for automating standard analysis.
• How user programs and macros can be integrated into an application.
• How to properly document an application and prepare a user interface and standard reports for end users.

Prerequisites: Introduction to Application Development or equivalent experience.



Advanced modeling procedures and script methods in Cube Voyager
October 15-17
This course is an advanced course in using Cube Voyager. The course will cover advanced modeling methods implemented with Cube Voyager scripts. The course is intended for the analyst who has a good basic working knowledge of Voyager program modules and the Voyager/TP+ scripting language. Basic knowledge of the Cube user interface including Application Manager and Scenario Manager would be helpful but not required. The course will cover:
• Multi-user class link and intersection constrained equilibrium assignment
• Stochastic assignment methodologies
• User specified convergence control
• Advanced network coding and access generation tools in Voyager PT
• Implementing capacity constraints in Voyager PT assignments
• Subarea extraction and Matrix Estimation for Subarea analysis
• Nested MNL modeling with CHOICE
• Advanced data manipulation and formatting procedures

Prerequisites: Intermediate Application Development with Cube Voyager or equivalent experience.

The courses will all be held at the offices of the Atlanta Regional Commission in their computer training facility (an ESRI Official Southeast Training Center) in beautiful Downtown Atlanta. The R. Charles Loudermilk, Sr. Center for the Regional Community houses the ARC offices
