Intermediate Application Development with Cube Voyager
March 3-4
This intermediate course is intended for model developers who would like to more fully understand and develop travel forecasting models using Cube Voyager. Attendees will learn:
How the Cube Voyager modules and scripting language are used together to fully develop a traditional travel demand model including standard mode choice and public transport modeling.
How the Cube Voyager modules can be applied to develop complex applications for automating standard analysis.
How user programs and macros can be integrated into an application.
How to properly document an application and prepare a user interface and standard reports for end users.
Prerequisites: Introduction to Application Development or equivalent experience.
Advanced modeling procedures and script methods in Cube Voyager
March 5-7
This course is an advanced course in using Cube Voyager. The course will cover advanced modeling methods implemented with Cube Voyager scripts. The course is intended for the analyst who has a good basic working knowledge of Voyager program modules and the Voyager/TP+ scripting language. Basic knowledge of the Cube user interface including Application Manager and Scenario Manager would be helpful but not required. The course will cover:
Multi-user class link and intersection constrained equilibrium assignment
Stochastic assignment methodologies
User specified convergence control
Advanced network coding and access generation tools in Voyager PT
Implementing capacity constraints in Voyager PT assignments
Subarea extraction and Matrix Estimation for Subarea analysis
Nested MNL modeling with CHOICE
Advanced data manipulation and formatting procedures
Prerequisites: Intermediate Application Development with Cube Voyager or equivalent experience.
