Citilabs has arranged with the Palm Springs Hilton Hotel to provide the facilities for Futura 08. Located in the heart of Palm Springs, at 400 East Tahquitz Canyon Way, the Hilton will provide all meeting rooms and most meals for the conference. The Hilton has a great deal of experience supporting professional meetings. The hotel provides a very relaxed atmosphere while offering productivity features designed for the business traveler.

Citilabs is pleased to have negotiated a special “Welcome Package” for all who register as Futura 08 delegates. The Futura 08 room package includes free self parking, hotel airport shuttle, pool and access to the fitness center. All guest rooms include complimentary high-speed internet service.

Citilabs has negotiated two very attractive room packages in a reserved block:

$139/night for private sector employees
$112/night for government employees

Note: The government rate is available for employees of MPOs or federal, state, or local government employees. Sorry, but government contactors are not eligible for this rate. To protect our discounted room block for registered delegates, the Hilton’s Web Master has created two secure room registration pages. After you submit your Futura 08 Registration form, you will receive a user ID and password from Citilabs.

Private meetings rooms are available, by request only. There will also be some sponsorship opportunities for private sector Citilabs business partners. Please contact the conference chairperson for details.

The Palm Springs Hilton is highly accessible for people with mobility challenges. Moreover, Citilabs has reviewed all of the proposed Futura 08 meeting rooms on-site, and we believe mobility challenged delegates will be comfortable, both as audience members and as speakers. How to get to Palm Springs:

Palm Springs is located in southern California, very close to US Interstate 10, about two hours from downtown Los Angeles and 2.5 hours from downtown San Diego. The Hilton offers a free shuttle service from the Palm Springs International Airport (PSP). Other area airports you might consider are the Ontario International Airport (ONT), which is about 1 hour from Palm Springs directly on US Interstate 10, and the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), which is about 2.5 hours from Palm Springs.
